There was a small number of users that ended up having their computers crash during the installation process, but this is also inevitable when installing an operating system, and should not dissuade anyone from upgrading to Windows 7 if they want to.

After the installation portion of the testing, the users then began to use the Windows 7 operating system, and were able to see the vast improvements that Microsoft made when compared to Windows Vista. The test results were overwhelmingly supportive of Windows 7. When the test scores were compiled, only 5% of the testers said they were unsatisfied with Windows 7, compared to almost half of the testers for Vista who were unsatisfied. Clearly Windows 7 is a significant improvement to Vista.

It looks as if Microsoft has finally made a superior operating system with the release of Windows 7 and as long as they continue to update and manage the problems that arise, there should be no reason why people should not switch over with fabulous results.
